On January 27, 2003, the Brehon Law Society of Suffolk County and Brehon Law Society of Nassau County and Friends of Sinn Féin honored MARTIN McGUINNESS, MP, MLA at a reception held in East Islip, Long Island.  Mr. McGuinness, who is the north of Ireland Minister of Education, presented a report on the status of the Irish peace process and also discussed his hopes and plans for reform of the north's educational system.
